As a sport manager, you must become an expert on Title IX sport mandates. Although Title IX laws are in place to seek equity in sport programs, many sport managers are not thoroughly educated on Title IX mandates. It is vital that equity is evident across sports programs, particularly across predominately male and female teams. For example, who gets the prime times for practice? Do some teams travel in a coach bus while others have an old van? Do some teams have new uniforms and some have worn-out uniforms? All parties should enjoy the benefits of equity. Compose an action plan to share with organizational leadership on how to provide maximum equity within sport programs for all athletes.
