Write a paragraph that discusses what Ms. Smith could do to identify his decoding areas of need and then discuss an instructional plan that Ms. Smith could use to support this student. 

Your plan should talk about the type of instruction, reading programs, and instructional activities that would support the students decoding (word identification) needs.
