ASSIGNMENT 2 Now that youve explored what the different avenues are within a police department, pick two that you may be interested in pursuing after patrol. Conduct research about what it may take to get to that unit such as training, physical fitness, college focus, targeted patrol for narcotics, proactive policing, etc. Research may be via interview, website, internet, etc. THERE WILL BE AN AUTOMATIC 10 POINTS EXTRA CREDIT IF AN INTERVIEW IS CONDUCTED WITH SOMEONE WITHIN THE SPECIALIZED UNIT IN WHICH YOU ARE RESEARCHING. Keep in mind that getting in touch with someone in one of those specialized units and asking them directly how they got there is going to give you the best insight!
