Following a change in the composition of the school board, the finance coordinator for a school district was reassigned to the (newly created) position of food services assistant. As a finance coordinator, she was a member of the management team that was in charge of finances for the entire school district and she supervised personnel in the finance department. She was told to remove all of her personal items from her office and return her keys. However, her pay and benefits remained the same. The woman went on sick leave after the reassignment and never actually worked as a food services assistant. consultant report

Backstory

I have provided a problem to be explored through a course announcement.  Imagine that your proposed solution is one of the many ideas that a panel of experts are receiving and you are competing with the other groups to win the bid.  Is your idea the most innovative? Is your idea the best? Have you justified the idea so well through incredible written communication that the experts will have to choose your idea?

Directions

Your team will research the problem giving a full analysis of the accuracy, assumptions, and relevancy of the information you found. Your team will thoroughly present and analyze one plan for action in report form. Within the report, there will be a complete write-up stating the plan and justifying this choice. A thorough and comprehensive job on this report would be a minimum of five pages and could take much more than that. Five peer-reviewed references are required. These are the only requirements leaving all else open-ended

Analysis of The Social Network

The Social Network is a biographical drama adapted from the 2009 Ben Mezrich book, The Accidental Billionaire. The movie portrays the founding of the social networking website Facebook and the resulting lawsuits. It should be noted that some of the key figures in the story call the movie a dramatization of history and Mark Zuckerberg has noted that the much of the films plot was not factual. However, Eduardo Saverin was a consultant for the book.
With that said, write a 1-2 page essay describing THREE issues that arose in the early years of Facebook, specifically about relationships, roles, and rewards. I am not looking for a critique of the movie. Think about the following:
Rewards: How was the initial founding equity split determined? Was it done properly? Would you have done it differently?
Roles: What role did Sean parker play in the venture? Did that conflict with Eduardo Saverins role in the venture?
Relationships: Based upon the movie, how did Zuckerberg, as t

An actionable plan addressing HRs roles

After a Hard Days Work at ACME

In this Module 2 SLP, you have the opportunity to delve further into the talent management function and HRs role in it. As you may recall from the video on talent management-- performance management, learning and motivating, compensation, career development, and succession planning all are contributors to building a strong talent pool.

You will learn more about two employees who have been with ACME, Inc. for two years. Andy is working as a quality assurance specialist in the plant and Ismal is an IT robotics specialist. These employees are friends and often meet outside of work with a few other ACME employees, including Henry, a new employee recently hired as an HR Staffing Specialist.

Ismal caught some movement out of the corner of his eye. It was a video on the overhead TV screen:
